Can nonprofit leaders be agents of change?

Can nonprofit leaders be agents of change?

Gandhi believed so. In fact, he explained, “A small body of determined spirits fired by an unquenchable faith in their mission can alter the course of history.” All we need is People, Passion and Purpose, supported by a culture of Unity.

Yet, when people seem even more divisive than ever, how do we even begin to unify our communities?

Hearing of my work in Greenville, Together SC graciously invited me to lead the opening gathering at the 2018 SC Nonprofit Summit in Hilton Head. I graciously said, “Yes!”

I look forward to meeting each of you and during our time together, I will help you answer the question, “Are you an agent of change?” My hope is to inspire and empower you as agents of change in your communities to build CommUnity. Together we will experience the strength of “Now, Hope and Conversation.”

Let’s unearth the secrets of finding Unity and take them back to our organizations and communities. Once on a unified path, we can all move forward with an unquenchable passion and a clear purpose to alter the course of our state’s history.

Yours in CommUnity,
