Conversations for CommUnity
Are we able to alter the course of history?
Gandhi believed so, stating, “A small body of determined spirits fired by an unquenchable faith in their mission can alter the course of history.”
To achieve Gandhi’s higher calling for change, we need People, Passion and Purpose supported by a culture of Unity.
Unity of the Community – a striving together for change – that’s our goal.
Yet, when people seem even more divisive than ever, how do we even begin to unify our communities?
In Monday’s opening session, designed more like a shared conversation than a keynote lecture, Jonathan Parker and Marlanda Dekine will help us answer this question for ourselves, and for our organizations.
Together we will experience the strength of the Now, Hope, and Conversation. We will unearth the secrets of being unified in a divided culture, and be challenged to take these ideas back to our organizations and communities.
For once we are on a unified path we can then move forward with an unquenchable passion and a clear purpose to alter the course of our state’s history – Together!
