Rachel is a South Carolina Native, growing up in Chapin, SC She has called Charleston home for the last 20 years. She works to recruit, train, and place volunteers in fulfilling volunteer position to advance ECCO’s mission. She also manages the food and clothing warehouse.
Rachel holds a degree in Human Services, with a focus on Crisis Intervention. Rachel also serves on the South Carolina Association of Volunteer Administrator. Currently she serves as the VP of Membership; she will serve as board President for the 2016-2017 terms. She has served as a volunteer at James B Edwards Elementary for eleven years. She has also volunteered with the Red Cross as well as Darkness to Light. Rachel and her husband Jay live on Sullivan’s Island and are the proud parents of three daughters, three dogs and two cats.
