As Founder and CEO, Mr. Winkler provides the overall strategic direction, vision, and day-to-day management of the firm’s practice. Recognized as a thought leader in the field of philanthropy, Mr. Winkler serves as a national director of the Giving Institute and is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE). A highly sought-after and award-winning speaker, Mr. Winkler is frequently invited to share his insights at both national and regional conferences. Additionally, he serves as a faculty member for Rollins College’s Edyth Bush Institute for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership. Prior to founding the Winkler Group, Mr. Winkler served as a Chief Development Officer, where he was involved with campaigns raising over $500 million. Throughout his career, every campaign he has led has met or exceeded its goal. Clients and colleagues alike recognize Mr. Winkler’s creative, servant leadership approach to project management and solutions-based fundraising. A graduate of Wheaton College, Mr. Winkler actively volunteers and sits on the board of a number of nonprofit organizations both locally and nationally.
