Ann Wright has served as vice president for advancement with the Greenville Tech Foundation since early 2017. Ann has spent the last three decades with the American Red Cross. She started as an assistant chapter manager and director of emergency services, became executive director for the Upstate, and served as chief operating officer for the South Carolina region as well as executive director for the Upstate. Wright earned a bachelor’s degree in social work at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has led a $2.7 million capital campaign to renovate and expand Red Cross headquarters in Greenville and developed a shared donor database management program that has been adopted nationwide. She has served as Past-president of the Leadership Greenville Alumni Association, the Greenville Professional Women’s Forum, the Non-Profit Alliance, and Together SC. She has received a Distinguished Leadership Award from the National Association for Community Leadership and a Women Making History award for Health and Public Service from the Greenville Cultural Exchange Center.
