Kay Roper is Executive Director of Cancer Survivors Park Alliance (CSPA). With a degree in Public Relations and Speech Communication from the University of Georgia, Kay’s background as a marketing and communications professional includes leading campaigns for the Greenville Health System’s Cancer Institute and GHS Children’s Hospital, Marketing Director of SC Children’s Theatre and a career in pharmaceutical sales. She has extensive community leadership and volunteer experience with Junior League of Greenville, Young Life, Christ Episcopal Church, and the Greenville County School System. A fourth-generation Greenville native, Kay and her “high school sweetheart” husband Phil are proud parents of their two grown children Alex and Jervey. She is excited to be working alongside the passionate team bringing the Cancer Survivors Park to Greenville and to be intimately involved in helping change the way we live with cancer. Cancer took the life of her younger sister Jinks Jervey Page, her grandmother Midge Hamilton, and both her in-laws Joyce and Charlie Roper, which played heavily in her decision to be involved with CSPA.
