Equity, Inclusion & Board Effectiveness
As nonprofit boards increase the diversity of its members, it is extremely important to ensure that all members are high level contributors. Board and organizational leaders must be intentional in their efforts to recruit and retain diverse board members. They should also be concerned about implementing strategies to shorten the time to reach effectiveness. Using an equity lens, this session will provide tools for organizational leaders to consider as they onboard new board members and develop existing board members to increase collaboration and cohesion.
