Kimberly Hutcherson


Ms. Kimberly Hutcherson is a native of Sumter, South Carolina and a graduate of Sumter High School. Ms. Hutcherson is an honors graduate of the University of South Carolina and Cambridge College and possesses degrees in Sociology, Elementary Education, and Educational Leadership. She also has certification in Middle School Language Arts. Ms. Hutcherson has conducted advanced research in culturally responsive education, discipline, literacy, and school culture. Ms. Hutc herson has served in both Richland School District One and Richland School District Two. She was formerly employed as a Middle School Teacher, Elementary School Master Teacher, Middle School Administrator, Instructional Coach, Alternative School Administra tor, Assistant Principal, and Behavioral Interventionist Specialist. She currently serves as the proud principal of Center for Achievement in Richland School District Two. She enjoys ministry in the community and attending sporting events. Ms. Hutcherso n is the CEO of Sapphire Speaks LLC where she serves as a behavioral and educational consultant and professional developer. She has designed frameworks for school districts and training for school leveled professionals and parents. Ms. Hutcherson is the proud mother of three children that inspire her daily. She is also a member of SCIRA, SCASA, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
