Session Description:

As donor acquisition numbers continue to see decline, many organizations have turned to their existing donors to establish new strategies through donor engagement. In this session, we will explore a variety of donor engagement strategies that create transformative donor experiences throughout the year. When you focus on the key areas of receipts, thank-you, access, impact, and invite. You welcome a cycle of engagement and interactions for the organization and community of advocates throughout the year that leads to sustainability.

We’ll answer the question of whether you can be S.E.E.N. as we review effective Strategy, Educational elements, Engagement tools, and Networking solutions that lead to retained community advocates. With proper planning and collaboration, these methods will increase giving and keep your community of advocates more committed to your mission. The Association of Donor Relations Professionals defines donor relations as the comprehensive effort of any nonprofit that seeks philanthropic support to ensure that donors experience high-quality interactions with the organization to foster long-term engagement and investment.

The goal of this session is to provide, enable and encourage the systems that allow organizations’ representatives to steward and engage with each person that develops trust with your organization. From these new techniques you gain during this session, your advocates will feel that they are able to take part in bringing real change to the mission. As an effect, they feel even more motivated to do more. This session is interactive, so I encourage participants to ask questions and begin thinking through experiences you can create at your organization
