The Courageous Leader

Why courageous leaders are a necessity for accomplishing your organization’s mission. A formulaic framework for building up leadership courage. How to overcome the barriers to courageous execution. How courageous leaders inspire others to execute courageously. The number #1 benefit of courageous leadership.

Session Audience:

CEOs, COOs, Senior Leaders and Middle Managers

Session Description:

There is no such thing as a “perfect world”. This means that leaders never have the most conducive environments to execute their organizational missions. Every non-profit leader from the C-Suite to program directors and coordinators must lead amid daunting external and internal environments that often make it difficult to accomplish and stay on mission.

In many instances, the daunting elements that often hinder or slow missional progress are assumed to be overcome with more money or manpower. However, what it takes to overcome the odds and accomplish the seemingly impossible is not more money or volunteers but courageous leadership. In this session, I will inspire and equip nonprofit leaders to lead courageously amid daunting internal and external forces and challenges.

During this session, we will explore reasons why courageous leaders are a necessity for accomplishing the mission of your organization. We will also disclose a formulaic framework for building up leadership courage.

As we discuss this framework and discover tools and principles to help develop the courage to lead, we will also provide insight on how to overcome the barriers to courageous execution.

Courageous leaders are about action; therefore, courageous leaders must execute with courage and empower those they lead to do the same.

Courageous leaders inspire courageous execution.

By the end of this session, you will clearly see how one courageous leader can inspire others to lead courageously and produce a culture of courageous leadership organization-wide. The daunting internal and external factors that inhibit or prohibit organizational progress are no match for a courageous leader.
