Amy Strecker

Amy Strecker serves as president of the Duke Energy Foundation and leads the company’s philanthropic strategy and employee engagement programs. Amy teaches communications at the UNC-Chapel Hill and started her career as an English teacher with Teach for America. Strecker earned a BA in English from the UT Austin and a Master of Public Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill. Amy is active in nonprofit board service and has chaired the United Way of the Greater Triangle’s Board of Directors and served on the executive committees of Marbles Kids Museum’s Board of Directors and the NC Theatre’s Board of Directors.
