Christian L. Soura

Christian Soura is the Executive Vice President of the South Carolina Hospital Association. He was previously the Director of the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and the President of the National Association of Medicaid Directors.

Before moving to South Carolina, Christian was the Secretary of Administration for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, where he held a range of other appointments in the executive and legislative branches. He holds master’s degrees from the Pennsylvania State University and the University of Illinois, along with a graduate certificate in public budgeting and financial management.
