Biography
Colleen Campbell Bozard is president and owner of ccbozard consulting, a firm established in 1998 to assist non-profit, community, philanthropic and government agencies strengthen their leadership and governance through services in board enrichment, strategic facilitation and executive transitions. Colleen is a widely sought-after trainer, is a BoardSource Certified Governance Consultant and has worked as a consultant with both Together SC and the Georgia Center for Nonprofits. She was one of the primary authors of all four editions of the Together SC Guiding Principles and Best Practices to help build the capacity of nonprofits throughout the state.
Before she established her consulting practice, Colleen served as the Executive Director of a several non-profit organizations, providing these agencies with critical leadership during organizational change, initiated new agencies, been responsible for budgets in excess of one million dollars, provided programmatic oversight, supervised staffs, and provided advocacy on a local and statewide basis.
Since beginning her consulting, she has served as Interim Executive Director for a number of non-profits to help successfully navigate leadership transitions and has assisted many others in conducting a search for new leadership. In this role, Colleen assures ongoing effective and efficient agency operations by providing administrative leadership and management services while conducting a thorough organizational assessment to support the search for new leadership. Colleen is a Nonprofit Certified Interim Executive Director with Lift Connection and serves as their South Carolina liaison.
