Don Squires

A graduate of the College of Charleston, Don arrived at ECCO in 2018 with a decade in non-profit fundraising and marketing experience.

His main role includes the planning and executing of an annual fundraising plan, donor stewardship and retention efforts, as well as leading a team that coordinates ECCO’s marketing, volunteering, food drives, and raising awareness of ECCO’s mission in the community. Most recently, beside a team of volunteers and staff, led a $5.2 million campaign to expand ECCO’s reach into the East Cooper communities.

Prior to ECCO, he held similar positions at Windwood Family Services and The College of Charleston Athletic Fund. He is also a member of The Exchange Club of Metropolitan Charleston and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife Molly, and a good coffee shop.
