Donna Waites

Donna Waites is the president of the Sisters of Charity Foundation whose mission is to reduce poverty in South Carolina. Donna began working in the nonprofit sector with the Sisters of Charity in 2000 raising funds for Healthy Learners and later for the Providence Hospitals Development Foundation serving as Director of Philanthropy. She joined Sisters of Charity Foundation in early 2015. Donna received her B.A. from the University of South Carolina and Master’s degree from Columbia College, is a GEO Change Leadership in Philanthropy Fellow, member of the Blue Ridge Institute, and in the 2023 class of the Riley Institute’s Diversity Leadership Initiative.
