LaTanza Duncan

LaTanza joined The University of South Carolina as Senior Director of Development, Principal Gifts in January2019. She previously spent 7 years as Chief Development Officer at Girl Scouts where her leadership responsibilities included strategic planning and overseeing philanthropic and alumni programs. During her 7-year tenure at Girl Scouts, she led the re-launched of a capital campaign for a Urban Leadership Center in Columbia, SC and was able to see the campaign to successful completion ahead of its timeframe.

LaTanza is motivated by the dedicated non-profit organizations, donors and volunteers serving her hometown of Columbia, SC. She attended University of South Carolina, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Arts in Business. LaTanza is a mother to Morgan and Hailey and the grandmother to Mary Duncan.
