Biography
Renee Martin brings a unique combination of HR strategist, coupled with complimentary operational business leadership experience, enabling practical HR business solutions. As a Senior Compensation Consultant for JER HR Group LLC., she conducts compensation and pay equity studies for health and human service organizations, educational and cultural institutions, foundations, associations, and other organizations. She is also devoted to providing clients with support in change management and organizational development.
She began consulting with JER HR Group in 2018, after more than twenty years’ experience in human resources management, learning and development, operations, and finance. Renee has worked extensively in the field of compensation and benefits in-house with employers spanning various business sectors, including nonprofit, higher education, banking, and manufacturing. Her work in compensation has ranged from creation of clear and concise job descriptions, development and implementation of compensation structures, executive compensation market analyses, Intermediate Sanctions and EO38 reviews, to assessing and making recommendations for pay equity.
She has presented at several conferences and is enthusiastic about helping her clients provide a workforce culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Renee holds a B.S. degree in business with a focus in management and psychology from the Pennsylvania State University. She holds SHRM-SCP, Strategic Workforce Planning, and Social Work MasterTrack® certifications. She serves as a board member for The Women’s Advocacy Center, providing services and advocacy to survivors of domestic abuse.
